Letter to the editor : A man of faith

Notes: Writer, from Lyndonville Vermont, writes in thanks for the remembrance of Bishop Barry Valentine in the December 2001 edition. "He served as the interim priest at St. Paul's K Street, our parish in Washington, D.C. When the episcopal visit of a female bishop distressed the parish, he helped us re-focus and not take ourselves too seriously. He also brought [Archbishop] Michael Peers [then primate of the Anglican Church of Canada] to visit, introducing us to the Canadian Order of Service".
