- Notes
- The author "extends the traditional phrase lex orandi, lex credendi, with an additional phrase, lex agendi in this way pointing up the connection between worship (lex orandi), theology (lex credendi), and living or doing (lex agendi). She says, `Myvocational pilgrimage as an educator in the church has remained grounded in baptism and lived faith. This commitment to the connection between faith and Christian life/ministry I now call "practical theology". ... This book offers a contemplative process of reflecting on life through the lens of the Baptismal Covenant'. (p. xvi) It proceeds from a rich understanding of the role of education in the life of Christians and proposes an extensive agenda".
