- Notes
- The author is a Volunteer in Mission from the diocese of Nova Scotia who served at Selwyn College in the Solomon Islands. "Selwyn College is the national secondary school of the Church of Melanesia (Anglican) and the only one which teaches to Form VI, university entrance". "In the villages one meets real people, jungle dwellers, the sea people. I was allowed to share their -- should I call it their poverty ? No, their wealth, the immense wealth of having nothing, yet sharing that gladly; of meticulous care for one's well-being."
