- Notes
- Barry and Linda Campbell, with their son Jonathan, are Volunteers in Mission from the Diocese of Nova Scotia serving in the Diocese of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Linda helps to teach English in the local school whose headmaster is Dave Dunnell. A working committee from the Mtoni Anglican Church has been formed to help develop the Mtoni Farm. The farm has applied to become a member of the ecumenical development cooperative. "Until now, money was lacking for membership and joining was not possible. However, because of the generosity of a Canadian, application has been made. Joining would enable obtaining low-interest loans, such as for small business projects, which could be implemented at Mtoni".
- This letter was reprinted with the title "Update" in the Winter 2004 (Vol. 11, No. 1) issue of Ministry Matters, p. 18. N.B. In the Winter 2004 issue this letter is described as being from "Fall 1998" when in fact it is from Fall 1999.
