The author describes two recent occasions, in New York and London, when he came upon a man lying on the ground and no one, including himself, stopped to offer help. He has continued to think about these two men and the phrase now going around "What would Jesus do ?" "May the spirit of Pentecost renew in us the fire of care and concern. We seem to not care about people; at least, not in the way I was taught years ago. Is it business as usual ? What would Jesus do ? Maybe we had better think about it. Speaking for myself, maybe it is time to 'become as a little child' again, and start caring".
