- Notes
- "John Webster will shortly be leaving Wycliffe College for Oxford, where he has been appointed to the Lady Margaret Professorship in Divinity, perhaps the most prestigious Anglican chair in theology in the world.". In this short article Professor Webster offers a number of suggested directions for liturgy in Canada. In one section on the next generation of liturgical texts he suggests that "we need -- cautiously but not too cautiously -- to ask ourselves whether eucharist is the only thing Christians ought to do on the Lord's Day, at least making sure that we inquire into the losses as well as the gains of such a pattern".
