- The assassin of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin said that "God wanted me to do this !" Reflection on the dangers of fundamentalism in all religions and a plea to "Anglican Christians to take our stand and confront such forces. Such `Christian' extremism is contrary to our revelation of God in Christ in scripture, tradition and reason, not to mention experience in our communal lives".
