- "The area covered by the diocese is under the Sudan Peoples Liberation Movement. Of the 60 pastors who look after the diocese's 40 parishes some are now in exile, although the parish work continues among a membership of about 200,000 people. ... Despite not having a car the bishop has been able to visit 14 parishes and confirm more than 600 Christians."
