- Prologue
- At this point the Archbishop of Fredericton requested permission for the Archbishop of Algoma to take the chair. Consent was given and the Archbishop of Fredericton expressed the great appreciation of the House for the guidance of the House and the conduct of the meeting by the Primate; also, to Bishop and Mrs. Reed for the splendid arrangements and generous hospitality throughout the duration of the meetings: to Archdeacon and Mrs. Bradley for the hospitality of the parish and of the rectory: to the local committee for many kindnesses: to the ladies of the Anglican Church Women of Trinity parish for the luncheon and other gracious favours: to the Mayor and Council of the City of Cornwall: to the Secretary of Archdeacon Bradley for her ready and willing services: to the Archbishop of Algoma for chairing the earlier sessions.
- This motion of appreciation was carried unanimously and with great feeling.
- When the Primate had resumed the chair, the Archbishop of Algoma spoke a word of friendly concern for the Bishop of Cariboo as he carries out his duties as Executive Secretary of the Anglican Communion. The Archbishop assured him that he has the confidence and support of all members of this House, especially as he carries his responsibilities as Secretary of Lambeth Conference arrangements. This word of support was applauded heartily.
- The Primate thanked the Archbishop of Algoma for his assistance during the meeting and said an additional word of appreciation for the presence of Archbishop Carrington.
- Text of motion
