- Recommendation 2: The Committee further recommends that steps be taken to ensure that Mr. Wooding's outstanding talents be still available to the Church.
- Moved by Dr. D.J. Broadwell, seconded by the Ven. D.P. Watney,
- That Recommendation 2 be approved.
- Text of motion
- That Mr. Wooding be retained for a period of two years as a consultant in public relations, the details of the contract of employment to be negotiated with Mr. Wooding by the Primate, the General Treasurer and the Director of Program, Planning and Research. CARRIED
- Notes
- Recommendation 3: The Committee wishes to meet again to explore ways of implementing recommendation (2) above.
- In view of the action taken by the National Executive Council on Recommendation 2, Recommendation 3 was received only.
- An expression of thanks was extended to the Chairman of the Board of Information and Stewardship, the Rt. Rev. H.R. Hunt, for his capable handling of a very difficult task.
