- (iv) The Inter-Church Relations Committee recommended the following:
- "That General Synod be requested to consider at its 1973 meeting entering into sacramental inter-communion and recognition of ministers with the United Church and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)."
- This recommendation resulted in considerable debate including a suggestion that reference to the United Church and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) be deleted and "Ministers of all Christian Churches be added.

- That General Synod be requested to consider at its 1973 meeting recognizing the efficacy of each others ministers in the administration of the sacraments and entering into sacramental inter-communion with the United Church of Canada and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). CARRIED
