- That subsection (4) of Section 4 (The Lower House) of the Declaration of Principles be amended by striking out "of England in Canada" in the third line thereof, and the words, "one clergyman" and "one layman" in the fifth line thereof, and substituting the words "two clergymen" and "two laymen", so that subsection (4) will then read:
- "(4) In addition to the persons elected or appointed under subsection (2), there shall be a Bishop Ordinary, having episcopal jurisdiction over the Chaplains of the Church on duty with the Armed Forces of Canada, and such Bishop Ordinary shall appoint two clergymen licensed by him, and two laymen from the armed forces to represent the Chaplaincy Services and the persons serving in the armed forces respectively."
