- InterMission, the General Synod page in the Anglican Journal/Journal Anglican makes its debut in January, 1995, with an in-depth look at what it is like to be posted in dangerous places on behalf of the church.
- You will meet the Rev. John Steele and his family, recently returned from Burundi and the Rev. Oge Beauvoir, his wife, and their children, who serve in Haiti.
- The article also looks at staff of the national church who travel to politically troubled places as part of their jobs -- whether it be monitoring the plight of refugees or investigating human rights situations.
- InterMission also examines two partner relationships the Canadian church is involved in, through short interviews with Bishop Charles Mwaigoga of South West Tanganyika, and Obispo Maximo Alberto Ramento of the Philippine Independent Church.
- InterMission, as of January, 1995, will be a regular feature in the Anglican Journal. The page will focus at [sic] the work of General Synod, as reflected in lay and ordained ministry.
- InterMission is produced by the Communications Department of General Synod and published on a page donated for that purpose by the Anglican Journal/Journal Anglican.
