- That a task force of the National Executive Council be struck
- a) to define clearly both the role and mandate of a search committee for the positions of senior executive staff members;
- b) to set down the elements in the process to ensure that appropriate consultation takes place and to enable the widest possible constituency to consider applying for these ministries;
- and to report back to the National Executive Council no later than March 1989. CARRIED #27-05-87
