- The Reverend Donald Grayston proposed a schedule for a period in which the House would gather concerns, work on a pastoral, gather responses and issue a definitive pastoral letter on peace.
- The House divided into small discussion groups and reflected on the following questions:
- 1. Is it practical for my diocese ?
- 2. Could it be useful for the national church ?
- The question of the financial requirements of the proposal was discussed.

- Seconded by: Bishop Conlin
- That the matter of a Peace Pastoral be referred to the Continuing Education Committee of the House of Bishops for further consideration.
