- That the National Executive Council recognizes the value of the dialogue in the recent (February, 1984) Church/Business Consultation and urges the continuing of this dialogue by:
- a) endorsing the Primate's intention to consider inviting a group of senior business executives to meet with him in an informal advisory capacity from time to time;
- b) supporting the concept of similar consultations in various parts of the country;
- c) in necessary cases, after appropriate consultation, making representations at annual meetings of corporations;
- d) seeking ways of developing better pastoral support for people facing difficult ethical decisions in business.

- The motion now reads:

- The motion as amended was put and CARRIED.
- Notes
- Members of the Council were assured that no suggestion was being made that the Terms of Reference of the Public Social Responsibility Unit be changed.
- The Primate expressed appreciation to Mr. DesBrisay and Mrs. Abraham, and to those who attended the Consultation and contributed their reflections.
