- Miss Donna Haley spoke to the Report and introduced those members of the Sub-Committee who were present at Synod

- and noted that Dr. Charles Feilding has now retired as Secretary of the Sub- Committee but will remain as a member.
- Miss Haley outlined the proposed areas of concern for the Sub-Committee which were
- -To publish an up-to-date Canon XXI separate from the other Canons
- -To publish a history of the Canon
- -To publish a popular edition of the Canon
- -To conduct workshops in the dioceses to illustrate the use of the Canon as a working tool in the pastoral work of the Church.
- The Rev. Donald Grayston spoke of the work of the Sub-Committee and urged members of Synod to support efforts to strengthen family life in parishes and dioceses.
