- It is the wish of the bishops, clergy, and lay members here assembled to address to Your Majesty a message of loyalty, affection, and admiration.
- We give thanks to God for the twenty-five years of Your Majesty's reign. We rejoice that the special events marking your Silver Jubilee have borne eloquent witness to the esteem and respect in which Your Majesty is held, not only by the British people, but by millions throughout the world.
- We are grateful for Your Majesty's visits to Canada during the past quarter century, and we ask you to accept our warm thanks for the interest you have always taken in the welfare of our nation.
