- "Office space at Church House, 80 Hayden Street in Toronto, has been rather cramped since the day employees moved in to the four-storey offices in 2004. Departments which expand their work and, consequently, their staff needed to shoe-horn them in to existing space. The pensions department, faced with the need to add more staff, and no room to put them, decided to vacate their office effective Nov. 1 [2008], and to move into offices across the street at the corner of Hayden and Church streets. The move has a two-fold benefit. It allows the department to expand and it also gives other Church House departments a bit more breathing room. A new department of philanthropy will be formed this year which will also require some room". [Text of entire article.]
