"The Canadian Church Historical Society, the Historical Society of the Episcopal Church, the Episcopal Women's History Project and the National Episcopal Historians and Archivists have scheduled a joint church history conference for 23-27 June 2001 in Toronto Ontario with the title: '(Re)Making Anglican Tradition(s) in North America'. A preliminary call for papers, panels and other presentations will appear early in 1999. The themes the conference seeks to address are: 1. Church History and Information Technology; 2. The Church and First Nations/Indigenous Peoples; 3. The Effect of Taking Anglican Tradition Across Cultural Frontiers; 4. Integration, Assimilation, Alienation: Women and the Church; 5. The Church and Public Culture; 6. Worship and Church Order: American and Canadian Anglicanism Compared.
