- Suzanne Rumsey, PWRDF's [Primate's World Relief and Public Engagement Program Coordinator, rode1,300 kilometres from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Montreal, Quebec, this summer. "Suzanne's ride was launched at General Synod 2010 as the culmination of PWRDF's 50th anniversary celebrations. She rode from Halifax, through Springhill, Nova Scotia, the site of the Springhill Mine Disaster in 1958 which led to the creation of PWRDF, and on to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, where PWRDF was officially created by General Synod in 1959. Along the way, Suzanne had the chance to meet Anglicans, speak about the work of PWRDF and get intimately familiar wit the hills of New Brunswick and Quebec. Each day Suzanne rode roughly 100 km".
