- Notes
- A brief history of the Anglican church in Zaire, which celebrates its centenary this year. Makes special mention of Canon Apolo Kivebulaya who died in 1933 after working as an evangelist to the pygmy tribes. The cathedral at Boga is dedicated to St. Apolo. The Church in Zaire plays a key role in areas like health, education and development. In the Boga region, for example, the government has delegated to it the running of the entire health service.
