- The 120th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada was held in Toronto in June 1994. The Assembly adopted a statement on human sexuality even though one-third of the committee involved had dissented from the report.
- The Assembly also restored the 12 days of unpaid leave that the Assembly Council had required of executive staff.
