- The Archbishop of Canterbury set out his vision of how the Church of England can draw on the distinctive traditions of Anglicanism in serving God and the nation as we move toward the new millennium. The Archbishop delivered a special lecture in a series of events marking the 900th anniversary of the Consecration of Winchester Cathedral on 24 May 1993.
