Concerning the change of name of "Woman's Auxiliary" to "Anglican Church Women" as passed by that organization in June 1966, it was feared that when then is referred to the Senate Committee of the Federal Government, that Committee might want some assurance that this change of name has the approval or consent of the Anglican Church of Canada in that the word "Anglican" is used.

That the National Executive Council of the Anglican Church of Canada hereby grants its consent to the Woman's Auxiliary of The Anglican Church of Canada making application to the Parliament of Canada for a private bill to change its name to Anglican Church Women. CARRIED
