Excerpt that accompanied the photograph in Rev. Aubrey Eric Walter Godwin's memoirs, "The Open Doors".....Dr. Flynn was a flying vet (throughout the north). He was forced down during a severe thunderstorm. A wing suffered damage while his plane was tied up at the whard in front of the school. We were involved in getting the plane in flying order.
Photo consists of a man carrying luggage, walking towards a small airplane.
Excerpt from Rev. Aubrey Eric Walter Godwin's memoirs, "The Open Doors"...From the city of Edmonton we flew with Associated Airways in an old converted Anson Bomber to Demarais, Alberta where there was a landing strip. This was the closest landing field to our destination of Wabasca" (p.31)
