It is proposed to establish an ecumenical chapel at London Airport, Heath Row, England, to be known as St. George's Chapel. The British Government has provided the site, substantial gifts have been made to the building costs, and major sums have been received from the churches and airlines in Great Britain. The member churches of the Canadian Council of Churches have been approached to see if they would be prepared to recommend to Air Canada that it makes a donation to this project.
At its recent meeting, the Committee on Ecumenical Affairs approved the resolution, "That the matter be referred to the National Executive Council for its sympathetic consideration."
