- Mr. D.C. Mackintosh presented the proposed revisions to Canon VIII, The Department of Pensions.
- Paragraphs 1 to 23 were considered ad seriatim and, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, were approved.
- Regulations 51 to 54 were considered and, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, were approved.
- Regulation 71, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, were approved.
- Regulations 72, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, with the addition of the words 'up to 40 years' immediately following the words 'Pensionable Service' in (2) (d).

- That (with regard to Regulation 73 of the Pension Canon) parity be achieved at the earliest possible moment by the Pension Board between Mortuary Benefits payable to widows of all Bishops and Clergy of the Church, and that this be done without increase in pension assessments.
