Mr. D.C. Mackintosh presented the proposed revisions to Canon VIII, The Department of Pensions.
Paragraphs 1 to 23 were considered ad seriatim and, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, were approved.
Regulations 51 to 54 were considered and, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, were approved.
Regulation 71, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, were approved.
Regulations 72, on motion of Mr. D.C. Mackintosh, seconded by the Ven. R. Axon, with the addition of the words 'up to 40 years' immediately following the words 'Pensionable Service' in (2) (d).
Regulation 73 was then considered.

A. That this Synod request the Pension Board to give consideration to the removal of the limitations on number of children eligible for benefits as given in R.75, Sections (d) and (e).
