Excerpt that accompanied the photograph in Rev. Aubrey Eric Walter Godwin's memoirs, "The Open Doors".....Dr. Flynn was a flying vet (throughout the north). He was forced down during a severe thunderstorm. A wing suffered damage while his plane was tied up at the whard in front of the school. We were involved in getting the plane in flying order.
