"Published under the authority of the General Synod of the Church of England in Australia and Tasmania". -- title-page.
"First published 1944". -- verso of t.-p.
"This volume has been compiled by a Committee of Bishops and Clergy appointed by the General Synod of the Church of England in the Diocese of Australia and Tasmania. The aim of this book is to meet the special needs of the Church of England in the Commonwealth. In England it has been the custom for the individual dioceses to publish their own volumes of Occasional Services. We have preferred to have one such book for the whole Church in Australia. The book is published in two editions. The fuller form [this edition] contains a Memorial Service for the departed."
