- Lt.-Col. M.L. Douglas was nominated by the Ven. R.K. Naylor, and Brigadier Aeneas McB. Bell-Irving.
- The Ven. Cecil Swanson and the Very Rev. J.O. Anderson were also nominated, but withdrew their names.
- The Prolocutor declared Lt.-Col. M.L. Douglas duly elected which announcement was received with applause by the House.
- The Ven. R.K. Naylor and Brigadier Aeneas McB. Bell-Irving were deputed to accompany the Prolocutor-elect to the Upper House, and upon their return it was announced that the Upper House had received the information with acclaim.
- Election of Deputy Prolocutor
- The following were nominated: The Ven. F.R. Gartrell, the Very Rev. J.O. Anderson, the Rev. Canon W.H.H. Crump and the Rev. Canon R.R. Latimer.
- Upon the ballot being taken, the Very Rev. J.O. Anderson was declared elected. (See pp. 40, 95.)
