Article reports on the experiences of several women clergy who comment on what has been achieved since the first ordination in 1976 but also point to obstacles still to be overcome. Canon Phyllis Lock, of Sexsmith Alberta, was a candidate in the recent episcopal election in Athabasca and noted that "Many people are still not comfortable with women in leadership positions in the church". Article also quotes the Rev. Helen Belcher and the Rev. Lucy Reid.
