That the Case for the proposed Anglican Appeal, while highlighting the church's work in the North, Overseas and Evangelism, clearly indicate that the whole program of the national church will benefit from the Appeal. CARRIED #73-11-91
That the balance of $195,819 in the Anglican Appeal accounts be used: in 1984 for work in the North and Overseas in the same proportions as those approved for the 1982 Anglican Appeal (64% North / 36% Overseas) to a total of $77,054; and in 1985 for expenditures in the Program Budget for work in the North and Overseas in the amount of $118,765. CARRIED
That as the World Mission Sub-Committee has already been asked to review 1980 overseas commitments from Appeal sources in order to assume a part of the 1979 Appeal income shortfall;
the Administration and Finance Committee be authorized to use reserve funds to wipe out any net Appeal shortfall at the end of 1980. CARRIED
That the balance in the Johnston Bequest be drawn into income in the 1994 budget in order to address the accumulated deficit.

That the accumulated deficits as of December 31, 1993, be retired by drawing into income the amount necessary from the Isabel Johnston Bequest; and that the balance remaining in the Isabel Johnston Bequest be brought into income in 1994. CARRIED

That this NEC authorize SFD [Stewardship and Financial Development] to proceed, in consultation with the Primate, to appoint an Anglican Annual Appeal Committee, as a Sub-Committee of SFD, to begin a process of consultation (with dioceses), goal setting and strategy development. CARRIED #32-11-90
Composition of the Anglican Annual Appeal Committee was proposed as follows: Council of the North (1); Partners in World Mission (1); Evangelism Committee (1); Visionary (1); SFD Financial Development Sub-Committee (1); House of Bishops (1); Larger Diocese Representation (1); Members-at-Large (4), to be named by SFD; The Chairperson (1); to be named by SFD.
That the start-up costs of the Anglican Appeal [$107,317.49] be charged in equal amounts over 5 years, beginning in 1992, to the proceeds of the Appeal. CARRIED #45-11-92
That NEC undertake an Annual Appeal to include northern and overseas work (excluding PWRDF) to be launched in 1992, subject to approval of the 1992 General Synod;
