Preaching to a congregation of over 4,000 at the first eucharist for the millennium, Archbishop Peter Kwong, Primate of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, commissioned the five year mission strategy for the province. The strategy is outlined in a policy document called 'In Christ We Move Forward: Vision of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui in the 21st Century'. That the Council of General Synod assent to the addition of Iglesia Anglicana de la Region Central de America and the Province of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui to the Schedule of Membership of the Anglican Consultative Council in accordance with clause 3(a) of its Constitution. CARRIED #10-11-98
