Five Church leaders from the Anglican Communion came to Britain, sponsored by the USPG, to share their perspectives on the world church in a special mission program. "The mission team challenged and assisted the `Mother Churches' by sharing experiences, ideas, joy, God's surprises and a vision of God's work. Numerous events took place in the dioceses of Manchester, Lincoln, Salisbury and Worcester." The team consisted of Miss Florence Phiri from Zambia, the Rev. Roger Chung Po Chuen from Mauritius, Miss Sonia Lobert from Guyana, Canon Oswald Swartz from South Africa and the Ven. Dr. S. Batumalai from Malaysia.
