- That the members of the Steering Committee for Residential Schools Issues be: Dean Nicholas Parker, Diocese of Cariboo, Council of General Synod representative and Mr. Hugh Mackenzie, for media expertise, and that the Anglican Council of Indigenous People be requested to appoint an indigenous person to this steering committee and that we call for nominations for the remaining positions (legal expertise, general expertise) to be received by December 15, 1999. Following receipt of nominations, the Nominating Committee will meet by conference call and will recommend to the Council that the Officers be empowered to confirm appointments as recommended by the Nominating Committee. CARRIED #35-99-11
