The Reverend Tim and Mrs. Betty Sharpe and Mr. Alan Gault and Mrs. Margaret Gault were introduced and invited to address the House.
The guests gave testimony both as individuals and as couples to the profound changes in their own marriages through Marriage Encounter. They see it as a means of experiencing the love of God at work in the marriage relationship.
The bishops were asked to extend their full and loving support of the Marriage Encounter method, and asked to appoint a bishop and spouse to be a liaison between the House of Bishops and the National Marriage Encounter Movement.
