"Every field of study and pleasure has its own technical language..... When we reach junior high age, we begin to use the language of the Anglican Church. We could not think very much about religion if we did not understand the words in which important ideas are expressed. This book is written to help you understand words you will hear and words you will need to use. .... In addition to many quotations from the Bible, special passages from the Book of Common Prayer are mentioned. It will help you to look them up. Hymns are suggested which show how the words are used." -- Preface.
"A list of all the articles and words in 'More Than Words', together with additional Bible references, is found on pages 199-203". -- p. [2].
