"The LOGOS Steering Committee nearly a year ago began asking questions about the changing pattern of leadership development in the Diocese. From a record number of 60+ participants a few years ago, the rate of participation had dropped to under 20 at recent LOGOS weekends. At the same time, both clergy and lay people were becoming interested in the small group movement that has become popular in the past few years. Had LOGOS reached a saturation point for training small group leaders ? What do clergy want and need to support small group ministry in their parishes ? Is asking people to give up a weekend too much ? What other things should we be training and developing leaders for ?" -- Intro.
