- The suspended resolution (see page 21) was returned. It reads:
- That this General Synod direct the National Executive Council to undertake a strategic planning process in consultation with all dioceses over the next triennium 1992-1995 and to present a proposal for the approval of the 1995 General Synod which will enable a reshaping of the directions and priorities of the work of General Synod and the National Office for the next three triennia 1995-2004; and that this proposal include suggestions concerning the structure and management systems required.
- The mover and seconder agreed to add the words "and provinces" in the second line of the motion.

- That the following words be added on line 6 following "1995-2004";
- "that this process include consultation with youth and aboriginal peoples to assist in the reshaping of the work for General Synod and the National Office." CARRIED Act 40
- Notes
- The Executive Director of Program, Ms. Suzanne Lawson, provided clarification on costs.
- The Assessors advised that all motions regarding funding should be referred to the Expenditures Committee prior to adoption.
- The amended motion now reads:
- That this General Synod direct the National Executive Council to undertake a strategic planning process in consultation with all dioceses and provinces over the next triennium 1992-1995 and to present a proposal for the approval of the 1995 General Synod which will enable a reshaping of the directions and priorities of the work of General Synod and the National Office for the next three triennia 1995-2004; and that this process include consultation with youth and aboriginal peoples to assist in the reshaping of the work for General Synod and the National Office; and that this proposal include suggestions concerning the structure and management systems required. CARRIED in all Orders Act 41
