- Resolved:
- That sub-section 2 of Section 5 (Handbook, p. 29) of the Constitution be amended to read as follows:
- "2. There shall be a special Synod Service during the session of the Synod when the Bishops and Clergy, attired in their proper robes, and the lay members of the Synod, shall proceed to the Cathedral or other church appointed by the Primate." (See pp. 30, 92.) Message L-6.

- (1) The Session of the Synod shall be preceded or commenced by Morning Prayer and the administration of the Holy Communion.
- (2) The Bishops and Clergy attired in their proper robes shall proceed to the Cathedral or other Church appointed by the Primate.
- (3) The Preacher shall be appointed by the Primate, and special prayer shall be made for the Synod.
- (4) The collection shall be applied to the current expenses of the Synod, unless otherwise ordered by the Primate.

- That subsection (2) be amended to read, "in their proper robes and the lay members of the Synod shall proceed..." CARRIED in both Houses.
- Notes
- The note respecting "Order of Procession" was by general consent deleted, and was later referred to the House of Bishops.
