- Text
- "That the following words be deleted from Canon XXI, IV, 2 (E):
- 'if the applicants have committed adultery with each other', so that the entire clause (E) will now read as follows:
- 'There is good reason for permitting the marriage other than an intention to enter into a mere pro forma marriage to legitimate a child or children'."
- Moved by: The Very Reverend E.B.N. Cochran
- Seconded by: Chancellor H.R.S. Ryan
- "That Rule of Procedure 18 be suspended". CARRIED
- Then the motion amending Canon XXI, IV, 2 (E), was declared CARRIED.
