File consists of material collected and compiled by Bernice Logan with the intention of documenting the experiences of staff and students at the residential schools from a positive perspective. Bernice worked at Shingwauk Indian Residential School (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) and All Saints Indian Residential School (Lac La Ronge, Sask.) and passionately advocated for the former staff and for their version of the residential school experience. She lead the Association of Former Indian Residential School Staff and compiled three volumes of photographs with some narrative she titled, Teaching Wigwams.
