- That this National Executive Council of the Anglican Church of Canada, recognizing that the churches in Japan oppose the enforcement of finger-printing under the Alien Registrations Law of that country particularly as a means of discrimination against those of Korean ancestry resident for generations in Japan, request the Primate to approach on our behalf the Government of Canada and the Japanese Embassy in Ottawa, expressing our concern about this matter to the Japanese authorities, and inform the Nippon Sei Ko Kai and the National Christian Council of Japan of these actions. CARRIED
