Appreciation was expressed to Bishop and Mrs. Conlin, the Synod Office staff, and all those in the Diocese of Brandon who worked to make this such a pleasant and happy meeting.
The performance of the play "Mass Appeal" was enjoyed and appreciated and special thanks were extended to Dean Goater and the Reverend G.S. Kilgore.
The special effort put forth by the staff of the Royal Oak Inn was recognized. Appreciation was expressed to Mrs. Patricia Curtis who led the morning meditations and to Mrs. Judy Lackey and Mrs. Joan Bothwell for their special presentations.
The wives expressed deep appreciation to all who worked to make the events arranged for them so enjoyable, and to the women of the Diocese of Brandon who made the cushions for the Bishops and their wives.

The Venerable G.E. Hobson presented the report of the Task Force on Canadian Unity and explained the background of the motion that was presented to the House.

"That we affirm the principles underlying the motion from the Task Force on Canadian Unity and request the Nominating Committee to suggest a small task force to prepare an appropriate resolution and pastoral." CARRIED
Bishop Snowden requested direction of the House to fulfill the resolution passed at the last meeting. The timetable appears to be unrealistic.

That the House agrees that the timetable be extended, if necessary, to allow the Task Force of theologians to have their report in the hands of the House of Bishops before any other steps be taken. CARRIED
The Primate, on behalf of Bishop Snell, reported on the work of the College of Preachers and stated that a written report will be circulated to the Bishops.

The House also recognizes the importance of making certain that such statements are made public in the most appropriate manner possible." CARRIED
