- The General Secretary reported that an invitation has been received from the Diocese of Western Newfoundland to hold the meeting of the House of Bishops prior to General Synod in Corner Brook. The bishops were pleased to accept the invitation.
- Concern was expressed regarding the provision of funds to enable the wives of the bishops to be present at the meeting.

- That a small task force be appointed to consider the various options for paying the expenses of the bishops' wives who attend the House of Bishops' meeting in June, 1989, and that the task force bring its suggestions before this House prior to the end of the meeting. CARRIED

- That $7,500 be included in the budget of the House of Bishops in 1988 to assist with the travel and accommodation costs related to the Training Event for New Bishops, and that the Administration and Finance Budget Sub-Committee be informed of this Resolution. CARRIED
