That responsibility be assigned to the Task Force on Funding National Goals for decision of the division of Funds raised in the Anglican Appeal 1979, bearing in mind the emphasis that there was in the original Appeal. CARRIED

That the Council of General Synod designate proceeds of the Anglican Appeal as available for all General Synod ministries in furtherance of the Marks of Mission.

At the conclusion of this presentation the Primate requested Bishop Ragg, John Ligertwood, Tom Anthony and Michael Peers to be a panel to talk informally about the subject.
It was AGREED to come out of the Committee of the Whole and back to the National Executive Council.

That the National Executive Council recommends the increase of opportunities for direct giving for world mission, apart from Apportionment and Appeals, through promotion and advertising as a part of regular program information and as a support to general income.

That the 1976 Appeal target of $500,000 be ratified and that an additional $100,000 be proposed to the dioceses as an "extra challenge" to the Church in order to respond to additional needs identified for the Church overseas, and
That the information contained in the report of the World Mission Sub-Committee on the Funding of World Mission be shared with the dioceses. CARRIED
