That this NEC authorize interim funding for the expenses of the Anglican Annual Appeal Committee from the Bancroft Bequest, which would subsequently be charged to the AAAC. This will have First Draw on funds to recover the expenditure. CARRIED #33-11-90
That this NEC authorizes the Commission to proceed with the task of acknowledging and answering correspondence and other administrative tasks between now and the January meeting to the extent of a further $500 in funding. CARRIED #64-11-91
That National Executive Council give approval in principle to recommendations 23, 24 and 25 and recommend that the next National Executive Council implement them by:
a) appointing a task force of its members to determine in consultation with dioceses, provinces and C/C/B's [i.e. committees, councils and boards], whether or not work that is being done at the national church level could be done better at the diocesan or provincial level and how the church should respond to the Mission Statement (if considered and approved by the 1992 General Synod);
b) appointing a small NEC/PC working group to consider how national program planning, direction and evaluation could be undertaken in greater collaboration with the dioceses. CARRIED #24-11-91
That this National Executive Council of the Anglican Church of Canada adopt the following policy and urge that policy upon the Canadian government:
1. That urgent measures be undertaken to cancel outstanding debt owed by sub-Saharan African countries including debts to the Export Development Corporation and to the Canadian Wheat Board.
2. That Canada support alternatives to assist economic recovery and development as outlined in the "African Alternative Framework to Structural Adjustment Programmes" and the "African Charter for Popular Participation in Development."
3. That Africa remain on the U.N. agenda by keeping the primary responsibility for coordinating and monitoring programmes with the U.N. and not the Global Coalition for Africa.
4. That the Canadian government address the African economic crisis at all appropriate multi-lateral fora in which Canada participates, such as the Commonwealth, la Francophonie and the G-7. CARRIED #44-11-91
That this NEC authorize the Officers of the General Synod, following their review of the documentation prepared by the Board of Trustees, to set in motion the search process for the position of Editor, so that an appointment might be made at the November 1990 meeting of NEC.

That this NEC approve a grant of $15,000 from special funding for a meeting in January 1992 of the BAS Evaluation Commission with three members of the NEC, to be named at this meeting, in order to clarify the mandate and process of the Commission in a way that is faithful to the resolution of the General Synod in 1989.
