On behalf of the National Executive Council, the Primate expressed deep appreciation to the members of the Anglicans in Mission Steering Committee and to Bishop Bothwell as Vice-Chairman, and to Canon E. Hobbs for his dedicated staff work.
a) That this National Executive Council affirms the objectives of the World Council of Churches Ecumenical Decade - Churches in Solidarity with Women, and encourages the Anglican Church of Canada at all levels to work with ecumenical partners in this undertaking.
b) That the National Executive Council request the Women's Unit, through the Program Committee to refer the appended report of the sub-unit on Women in Church and Society of the World Council of Churches to appropriate national and diocesan bodies for study and to monitor work developed as a response to this report, reporting regularly to the Program Committee.
