That this National Executive Council express to the members of the Steering Committee of Anglicans in Mission our sincere thanks and gratitude for their devotion and strong leadership to the church-at-large during this major undertaking. CARRIED
That this National Executive Council discharge the Anglicans in Mission Evaluation Committee and refer its report to the appropriate National Committees at the discretion of the National Steering Committee. CARRIED
On behalf of the National Executive Council, the Primate expressed deep appreciation to the members of the Anglicans in Mission Steering Committee and to Bishop Bothwell as Vice-Chairman, and to Canon E. Hobbs for his dedicated staff work.
a) That this National Executive Council affirms the objectives of the World Council of Churches Ecumenical Decade - Churches in Solidarity with Women, and encourages the Anglican Church of Canada at all levels to work with ecumenical partners in this undertaking.
b) That the National Executive Council request the Women's Unit, through the Program Committee to refer the appended report of the sub-unit on Women in Church and Society of the World Council of Churches to appropriate national and diocesan bodies for study and to monitor work developed as a response to this report, reporting regularly to the Program Committee. As the new Chancellor of the General Synod is now a member of the National Executive Council, Ex-Officio, the Prolocutor will appoint another member to the Council in consultation with the Bishop of the Diocese of Saskatoon.

2. A letter from the Anglican Youth Ministry Committee expressing support for the "Living Waters" Native Youth Ministry Working Group proposal for 3 Native Youth observers to attend the 1989 General Synod.
That this request be referred to the Organization Committee for action and report to the National Executive Council in March 1989. CARRIED #03-11-89
