That the Consultant, Womens' Concerns, be asked to clarify the meaning of paragraph 3 of the statement from the Conference of Diocesan Presidents and Co-ordinators of Anglican Church Women and subsequently to inform the General Secretary. CARRIED #72-11-91
Message as it appears under "Correspondence" Item "2." on page 7 of Minutes: "Also in October 1991, the Diocesan Presidents of Anglican Church Women and Co-ordinators of Women's Concerns in Integrated Dioceses forwarded the following message to the National Executive Council:
`We urge the National Church to continue to respond to the needs of Church Women today. For more than 100 years faithful women have served the church in Parish, Diocesan and National levels.
Upon integration, the National Church and Anglican Women entered into certain agreements. We ask the church to honour these intentions and practices.
We request that any new structures provide access for church women, financial resources and staff assistance.'"
That this National Executive Council approve the referrals proposed by The Officers [with the exception of Acts 56 and 82] and the action discussed at this meeting, regarding the disposition of Acts of General Synod referred to this Council. CARRIED #10-11-92

There was considerable discussion regarding the gathering of financial statistics.
That this General Synod refer the Acts of the 32nd Session of the General Synod to the Prolocutor, Deputy Prolocutor and staff Officers (General Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Director of Program) for appropriate action. CARRIED BY APPLAUSE Act 161
The session concluded at 10:50 a.m. with the Celebration of the Eucharist at which Archbishop Hambidge delivered the homily.
Archbishop Hambidge declared the 32nd Session of the General Synod prorogued.

On the 19th day of June in the year nineteen hundred and ninety two at the beginning of its centennial triennium, the 33rd meeting of the General Synod of the Anglican Church in Canada has been convened in the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, under the Presidency of the Most Reverend Michael Peers.
The bishops, clergy and lay members of the Synod wish to assure you and the whole Royal Family of our prayers that God may enrich you with all heavenly grace and cause all who hold authority in our commonwealth to serve you with integrity and compassion.
May God foster among our many peoples, a deep sense of mutual regard and self-transcending community and, with your gracious inspiration unite us in the cause of justice, in the love of freedom and in the quest for universal peace.
God Save the Queen.

A statement from the Anglican Consultative Council regarding the appointment of a Priest representative from the Anglican Church of Canada to the Council was read to the meeting and, following due process, the Deputy Prolocutor, Mrs. Amy Newell, advised that the Reverend Barbara Clay had been elected on the first ballot as this representaive.
That all remaining ballots be destroyed. CARRIED #18-05-91
a) That this National Executive Council affirms the objectives of the World Council of Churches Ecumenical Decade - Churches in Solidarity with Women, and encourages the Anglican Church of Canada at all levels to work with ecumenical partners in this undertaking.
b) That the National Executive Council request the Women's Unit, through the Program Committee to refer the appended report of the sub-unit on Women in Church and Society of the World Council of Churches to appropriate national and diocesan bodies for study and to monitor work developed as a response to this report, reporting regularly to the Program Committee.
